Dead Space

Dead Space is EA's new survival horror game. It centers around an engineer named Isaac Clarke who is on a mission along with fellow soldiers Kendra and Hammond from the Kellion (ship). Their mission is to find out what happened on board the Ishimura (Planet Cracker Ship) after receiving a distress call from one of the people stationed on it.



Obviously, being a survival horror game, EA had to set the right mood; the kind that makes you afraid to go to sleep at night. They sort of grasped that concept; the HUD was limited to Isaac's computer and rig but the Necromorphs (Living Dead of The game) were not as scary as I'd hoped. The music on the other hand, gives you that feeling that makes you wanna jump outta your seet.



The gameplay is superb. Killing the Necromorphs is somewhat tricky; you have to cut off their limbs in order to kill them. That can be frustrating at times but for fans of horror that can be amusing. The bosses in the game weren't as challenging as I'd hoped and were limited to a few bosses considering the game consists of 12 chapters.





I'm not sure if there's gonna be a Dead Space 2 but judging by the ending I think it's safe to say that EA won't just ignore the idea.

I know everybody got all excited about it. But don't be dissapointed it'll eventually be here right?

Hey Guys,

As of today xbox LIVE will be offline for 24 hours to get you some of the new features of the new xbox experience.

Now there's been a lot of fuss about wether or not its the full package. Im not totally sure but I think we're gonna get some of the features tomorrow and the full thing in November.

Gears of War

Hey guys,


Sorry I haven't posted a blog in a really long time but I have been so busy I couldn't get more than 2 hours of gaming a day!

Anyway, I recently bought Gears of War. I know what your thinking. How can an Xbox 360 owner buy this xbox exclusive just 2 months before the sequal's release? I never really found an answer to that though.

It's an amazing game. The graphics are awesome, the gameplay is great and the whole plot of the game is quite nice. I'd like to point out one thing though. I would've really ejoyed the game a lot more if there were a few more bosses..

All in all, it is a game worth buying - that's for sure.

I personally recommend The Logitech DriveFX Axial Feedback Wheel; It'll make you get the best of games like he upcoming game Nascar 09 and current titles such as PGR3, PGR4, NFS Most wanted etc.
